Pork Chop
A simple and tasty, seasoned and seared pork chop recipe.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup - Brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp - Cayenne powder
- 1/2 tsp - Garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp - Paprika
- 1/2 tsp - Salt
- 1/4 tsp - Black pepper
- 2 Tbsp - Olive oil
- 4 - Thick cut boneless pork chops
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350ΒΊF.
- In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Remove pork chops from packaging and apply the seasoning mix to all sides.
- In a large, oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the pork chops when the oil starts shimmering.
- Cook the chops for about 5 minutes on each side until browned.
- If the chops are over an inch thick, move the skillet to the preheated oven and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145ΒΊF.
- Before serving, dredge the chops in the thick sauce at the bottom of the pan.
