Pork Chop

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup - Brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp - Cayenne powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp - Salt
  • 1/4 tsp - Black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp - Olive oil
  • 4 - Thick cut boneless pork chops

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ΒΊF.
  2. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Remove pork chops from packaging and apply the seasoning mix to all sides.
  4. In a large, oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the pork chops when the oil starts shimmering.
  5. Cook the chops for about 5 minutes on each side until browned.
  6. If the chops are over an inch thick, move the skillet to the preheated oven and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145ΒΊF.
  7. Before serving, dredge the chops in the thick sauce at the bottom of the pan.
