Country Gravy
Easy and delicious country gravy.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Garlic powder to taste
- Onion powder to taste
- Paprika to taste
Instructions
- Heat pan on medium low.
- Add butter.
- Add flour and whisk for 2 minutes.
- While whisking, add chicken broth. Do not stop until all lumps are gone.
- Move the heat to low and slowly add the heavy cream.
- Add seasonings to taste. Start with 2 tablespoons and adjust to your desired taste.
- Move heat to low and let the gravy simmer until it thickens (about 5 minutes).
- Take off the heat and enjoy!
