- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 385°F (196°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together the salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.
- Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.
- Rub the canola oil over the ribs to lightly coat them.
- Generously season the ribs with the mixed seasonings, ensuring all sides are covered.
- Place the seasoned ribs in a baking pan and cover tightly with aluminum foil.
- Cook in the preheated oven for 3.5 hours.
- Remove the ribs from the oven and brush them with BBQ sauce.
- Preheat the broiler.
- Return the ribs to the oven, uncovered, and broil for 5 minutes to caramelize the BBQ sauce.
- For extra saucy ribs, repeat the brushing with BBQ sauce and broiling step.
- Remove from the oven and let the ribs rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
